McCoy Writing
about me
I studied political science at Tufts University and Pembroke College, Oxford University, and received my master's degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, in Washington, D.C. After finishing graduate school, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, where I worked as a piano instructor for four years. I live in Boston with my wife, and I teach English to international students and play piano in a band. My writing has appeared in the Wall Street Journal and the Christian Science Monitor. I write fiction that celebrates the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity.
